The sacred art museum of Massa was designed at the beginning of 2004 close to the San Francesco di Sales Convent, on the main square. The convent was founded during the XVII century, and enriched during the XVIII century: that is when the chapel was built and frescoed, being a relevant part of the museum itinerary. There is a significantly important painting, tributed to Crespi, depicting the Presentation of Mary to the Temple. In the Choir room, within special glass furnitures many sacred objects can be seen and admired, including silver and gold pieces from Paolo Laurentini.
