Racecourse

Ippodromo Sesana con gara in corso

Located close to the railway line, the racecourse has a track that is 800 metres long and 20 metres wide, and can accommodate up to 16,000 spectators.
Famous horse prizes with famous drivers and horses were held at the Sesana, named after Baron Giuseppe Sesana.

It is open from spring through summer, with night racing scheduled between June and September, thanks to the lighting system that follows the entire track.
There is still a tradition of holding the Grand Prix City of Montecatini on 15 August each year, along with related events and performances.
