La Fontana delle Naiadi, opera dello scultore palermitano Mario Rutelli, fu collocata nel fiabesco giardino dello Stabilimento Tamerici negli anni ‘30, richiamando gli effetti benefici delle acque di Montecatini Terme.
Si tratta di un prototipo dell’omonima fontana che si trova in piazza della Repubblica a Roma, sempre opera del Rutelli.
La scultura consiste in quattro figure femminili bronzee, poggiate su basi di travertino, raffiguranti la Ninfa dei Laghi, riconoscibile dal cigno, la Ninfa delle Acque Sotterranee, in groppa ad un drago, la Ninfa degli Oceani, in sella ad un cavallo e, infine, la Ninfa dei Fiumi, sdraiata su un mostro marino.
