XIII Festival Internazionale del Folklore “Incontro con la Tradizione”
Montecatini Terme si prepara ad accogliere la XIII edizione del Festival Internazionale del Folklore “Incontro con la Tradizione”, in programma dal 17 al 21 luglio 2025. Un evento ormai diventato una tradizione per la città, che ogni anno richiama gruppi folkloristici da tutto il mondo per celebrare cultura, arte e fratellanza tra i popoli.
Organizzato da Sopravista International Festivals, con il Patrocinio del Comune di Montecatini Terme e la collaborazione dell’Ufficio Cultura, il festival si fonda sui valori dell’amicizia, della tolleranza e dell’unità attraverso la musica e la danza popolare, con l’obiettivo di preservare il folklore e trasmetterne il valore alle future generazioni.
Quest’anno partecipano gruppi provenienti da Bulgaria, Lituania, Polonia, Slovacchia, Moldavia, Canada, Ungheria, Paesi Bassi e Germania, portando con sé un ricco patrimonio di tradizioni, colori e suoni autentici.
Il programma include due imperdibili concerti in Piazza del Popolo, in calendario per il 18 e il 20 luglio, dove i gruppi si esibiranno in danze e canti tradizionali, offrendo al pubblico uno spettacolo unico di cultura viva.
Domenica 20 luglio, in particolare, il festival culminerà con la suggestiva sfilata di tutti i gruppi in costumi tradizionali, che partirà dallo storico Stabilimento Tettuccio e attraverserà il cuore della città fino a Piazza del Popolo. Un momento di grande impatto visivo ed emotivo, simbolo dell’incontro pacifico e gioioso tra culture diverse.
Durante il loro soggiorno, i gruppi avranno anche modo di visitare le principali città d’arte della Toscana, rendendo il festival un’occasione di scoperta reciproca e arricchimento culturale.
“Incontro con la Tradizione” è molto più di un evento: è un ponte tra popoli, un messaggio di unità costruito attraverso il linguaggio universale del folklore.
