Al via il programma delle festività natalizie a Montecatini: si comincia il 16 novembre e si prosegue sino al 6 gennaio 2026
“Montecatini Città del Natale – A spasso con gli Elfi” si aprirà con l’evento inaugurale di domenica 16 novembre, tra spettacoli e animazioni varie e con l’accensione in Piazza del Popolo del grande abete proveniente da Falcade, comune tra il Veneto e il Trentino.
Sarà un vero viaggio nel tempo che celebrerà la vivacità culturale di Montecatini e accenderà il cuore di bambini e adulti tra allestimenti iconici, proiezioni sui palazzi, attività da svolgere in vari punti della città, musica natalizia per le vie del centro.
Le strade del centro si animeranno con tante attrazioni dando vita alla Città del Natale, con luoghi magici come il Bosco incantato, il Regno di Ghiaccio, passando per il Villaggio degli Elfi e molto altro ancora.
L’area di accoglienza e il punto informazioni sono previsti in Piazza del Popolo presso il “Chiosco degli Elfi”, dove verrà consegnata la mappa della città che avrà anche al suo interno una sezione dove poter raccogliere timbri dopo aver partecipato alle diverse attività/laboratori in modo da poter ricevere gadgets e buoni sconto, spendibili nei punti vendita aderenti del centro città che esporranno una vetrofania dedicata.
In viale Verdi sarà allestito il Portale magico con un photo-corner, mentre la scalinata del palazzo comunale diventerà anche quest’anno la platea del Piccolo Teatro del Natale, con esibizioni e spettacoli musicali, di marionette e artisti di strada di fama nazionale.
Ma la vera novità del 2025 sarà il mapping animato realizzato sugli edifici di piazza del Popolo, con un video emozionale della durata di qualche minuto che si ripeterà ogni mezz’ora dalle ore 17 alle ore 22.
Sono previsti poi tre punti-animazione fissi con spettacoli gratuiti, mentre lo storico Kursaal di corso Romasarà trasformato nel Bosco incantato e Villaggio degli Elfi, dove sarà possibile conoscere la storia magica raccontata dagli elfi del bosco scansionando il codice QR-code e cimentarsi con giochi e aneddoti legati al Natale. Presso la Baita dell’Elfo invece ci saranno laboratori creativi nei weekend e truccabimbi per i più piccoli.
Non mancherà poi l’animazione in Pineta con giostre e attrazioni e collegamento con il Grocco e Tettuccio nel percorso, giostre tema nel viale delle Tamerici e installazioni luminose con selfie point.
