Ancora oggi, passeggiando in Via Magenta, è possibile ammirare l’elegante giardino progettato dal Porcinai. La ricca vegetazione ornamentale era infatti in linea con i giardini degli stabilimenti termali; mentre la cancellata riprendeva le geometrie curvilinee dello stile liberty. Tra l’architetto fiorentino e Dino Scalabrino si creò un vero e proprio sodalizio: nel 1969 Scalabrino incaricò infatti Pietro Porcinai di realizzare un museo all’aperto presso l’albergo di Villa Ortensie, futura sede dell’Accademia d’Arte Dino Scalabrino.
