GUIDED TOUR FOR THE HEARING-IMPAIRED

Join us to discover Montecatini Terme and Alto!

The initiative continues, which sees the collaboration between the Municipal Administration, specialized tourist guides and local associations, such as UICI, ENS, Associazione Gruppo Incontro and Intrecci Cooperativa Sociale, for the creation of free guided tours with the involvement of categories with physical, sensorial and cognitive disabilities.

The project, funded under the public ministerial notice “Urgent measures to support businesses and economic operators, work, health and territorial services, connected to the COVID-19 emergency” referred to in the Decree of the Ministry of the Interior – Department of Internal and Territorial Affairs – Central Directorate for Local Finance of 22 December 22 December 2021, provides for the creation of n. 8 guided tours of the spa town in which it will be possible to participate for free.

📅 April 27th we will discover the art of Miro, an artist who revolutionized painting with his surrealist style, focusing on “Woman wrapped in a bird’s flight”.

🏛️ Meeting.point: In front of the Palazzo Comunale.

📅 On May 6th we will discover the ancient village of Montecatini Alto, walking through the alleys that have made it immortal.

🏛️ Meeting Point: Valley station of the Funicular

📅 On May 11th we will be fascinated by the suggestive trekking routes that surround the Montecatini Alto area, until we reach the Maona Cave discovered in 1860. Meeting Point: Fedeli Parking.
