The author, who holds a degree in Law and has been Governor of the Region since 2020, is also known as a passionate scholar and expert on Tuscan history. In this volume, Giani tells the story of Pietro Leopoldo of Habsburg-Lorraine, an enlightened Grand Duke who led Tuscany through a period of great modernisation and progress.
